Writing in general
I've been wanting to write for a while now. I always thought of myself as someone who could write a book. But it's hard. What they don't tell you is you need like a million ideas for one book. In high school I wrote a book for an independent study class. It was about an earthquake and the devastation afterwards. It was only 80 pages all in all. Which, looking back at it, I am quite proud of myself. It isn't easy to write that much.
After browsing the internet and falling in love with blogs, I decided that I would write my own as well. Even if no one reads it, at least I got my words out. And, to be honest, it's more for me anyways. To put thoughts down on digital paper. I am writing to not tell the world my amazing idea, but to write it down for myself. I sometimes can get a bit self-conscious on how I am writing these blog posts out. Are they readable enough? Does the reader understand what I'm saying? Am I conveying myself the way I want? But I just tell myself that this blog is for me, that I write the way my brain feels is right. Will I look back at these posts and go: Oh geez, this is written awfully. Maybe, but I will get better in time. Until then, let me bleed upon the page. Let me scribble nonsense.
