The Day the Clouds Slipt away
It was the day the clouds slipt away
No one had noticed, not for many days
They had vanished right above our noses
parted - to show the blue sky - like Moses
It left the weather people more than stunned
They gave no warning of what they had doned
Would the clouds ever consider returning?
Or did they find whatever got them yearning?
